Canberra's Hudson Young has pleaded not guilty to eye-gouging Warrior Adam Pompey, and will front the judiciary on Tuesday night.

Young was handed a five-match ban for a similar incident earlier on this season, and if found guilty again could serve one of the biggest suspensions in NRL history.

Sea Eagle Martin Taupau won't feature on Tuesday night, after accepting an early guilty plea for a high-tackle.

Taupau will serve a one-match ban, which will see him miss Manly's elimination final against Cronulla on Saturday.

Sharks youngster Ronaldo Mulitalo may miss that match as well, after being charged with a grade one shoulder charge on Tiger Luke Brooks.

Mulitalo can accept a one-match ban for 180 points, but would miss two matches if he fought the charge at the judiciary.

  1. Why would young plead not guilty. It’s very very obvious and you’ve done it before you going to miss time. May as well say sorry and early guilt plea

  2. But wait, Ricky Stuart says he is concerned for his health & he didn’t mean it.

We had better let him off then Ricky so he feels good again hey?.
