Penrith forward Isaah Yeo has been hit with a charge of dangerous contact to the head or neck after a crusher tackle on Wests Tigers utility Luke Garner.

The incident happened early in the second half, with Yeo hit with the grade one charge.

If Yeo enters an early guilty plea, he'll only receive 75 points which will allow him to face the Titans next weekend.

However, if he decides to fight the charge and loses, he'll be handed a one-game suspension.

  1. So Yeo falls in a tackle and is caught high accidentally by Jennings and Jennings gets ten in the bin and a weeks sususpension yet Yeo does an intentional grubby crusher tackle that can do serious damage and is free to play next week.
    Protected species.
Love the consistency from the NRL.

  2. How does somone intentionally crusher tackle somebody else? It happens when forwads turn their backs on the defense looking for offloads and get folded up.
    Should be free to play.
