    • You were saying? Typical manly supporter with no idea about reality. Well done you knights!!!

  1. Good win by the Knights, well deserved. My team seems to have no idea in attack, they just seem lost and I think it is time for a change at the top so hopefully Wayne retires a year early.
I think it’s good for the comp to have the Knights being successful and they have done well considering the mess Wayne left them in when he left. Matter of fact he seems to be doing the same thing to the Broncs now!

    • Yeah when you look at Ben Hunt killing it at the Dragons and looking like a completely different player you have to wonder if it was the coach and not the player.

      • In hindsight Bennett should have retired after he won the premiership with the dragons in 2010. After that his teams have been a shower of sh!t. With the mess he left Newcastle in he can’t seriously bag another coach about anything

        • Serious slap down from browny but can’t say it’s not justified. Guess the truth hurts.

        • Bennett got beat one game short of the grand final in 2013 against the Roosters whilst coaching Newcastle. After that season the cheating Bennett should of retired with his cheating woman. He will struggle to see out the season. Bennett has run out of ideas and his coaching days are as good as finished. Last season he changed his style to attack and defence went out the window. Last season he blamed Hunt now Hunt has flown out that same window. The Window is wide open for Bennett to retire however the Bronco oficials will make sure that this is Bennetts final Bronco year. The Door will be closed for good.

  2. A lot of you seem to forget the role Nathan Tinkler had in the knights affair

    It wasn’t always about Bennett

    • Very true, Tinkler has a lot to answer for in the way he treated the players and staff, not to mention the financial problems he lumped upon the Knights. However, when talking about the roster, Bennett was the man in charge of hiring and firing. He assembled the team he wanted, with the contracts that he wanted, without looking at how that would leave the club in the future.
I think his biggest problem was the fact that Tinkler was going broke and Bennett didn’t have the slush fund to be able to top up some of the extra contracts he had organized. That’s probably why he jumped ship when he did.
But make no mistake, he knows he screwed them over and now is just trying to make sure it looks like it’s someone else’s fault so he doesn’t tarnish his own legacy.
