Jake and Tom Trbojevic are willing to take less money from the Sea Eagles in order to remain together at Manly for the remainder of their careers.

According to foxsports.com.au, the brothers would consider signing on for less money, in the hope they can remain in the same side.

Clubs have come knocking for the pair - including Canterbury who wanted to bring both to the Dogs - as mounting speculation believes the brothers would need to split up in order to both gain their best possible contracts.

However, while speaking to Fox Sports, the pair both said they would consider taking on a smaller contract, with Jake suggesting the pair would assess all the options before parting ways.

“You’ve got to look at everything I guess, but we love playing together so ideally you want to stay together,” Jake said.

“You never know what happens in footy ... the Stewart brothers (Glenn and Brett), you wouldn’t have thought they would have to separate, but it’s the nature of the game with salary cap and so on.

“Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.

“I’d love to stay there (at Manly) ... but we’ve got another year and a half so I haven’t even thought about it really.”

Younger brother Tom agreed with Jake, although the Origin II hero said that's one to deal with down the track.

“Of course, that’s what you want to do. But I’ve still got a long time left there so I’ll sort that out when it needs to be sorted out,” Tom said.

“We haven’t (spoken about it). Ideally, we would like to stay at Manly but we’ve still got a long time left there.”

As it stands, both Trbojevic brothers are signed on at Manly until the end of the 2020 season, with clubs allowed to table offers to them on November 1.
