That will be the hope of the bottom few teams in the competition right now.
We've seen quick rises, and quick falls, across the space of a few weeks, or an off-season.
An influx of recruits, a new coach, stars returning from injuries. Sometimes it's even a youngster who catches fire at the right time.
Today we're going to look at the bottom five teams in the NRL and rank the brightness of their futures.
The below rankings take into account success next season and beyond. For instance one club may do better next season yet long-term they don't success as much as another. It's all weighted.
Ultimately this is just for fun and we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Here are the bottom five NRL teams as of Round 21 taken from the current NRL ladder, but for the pursposes of this, ranked in the order of least likely to most likely of a fast recovery.
3. Brisbane Broncos
It's hard to type that Brisbane are a bottom five side, but the ladder does not lie.
I fully expect the Broncos to bounce back faster than any other team on this list. This is down to the pure star power of their roster.
Reece Walsh is one of the two biggest stars in the game, Patrick Carrigan is the very definition of a footballer, Kotoni Staggs is unstoppable on his day.
That said, long-term, the outlook in Brisbane is ok. Good even. Not great though.
Adam Reynolds is retiring. Ben Hunt should probably follow. Payne Haas is on his way to the Bunnies.
Rumours of discontent within the playing roster and coach Michael Maguire simply won't go away. My suggestion is it won't until they start winning serious footy games again.
Mitch Barnett and Dane Gagai arrive next year but both are on the tail ends of their careers. Jonah Pezet should take over at seven and form a much more youthful halves partnership with Ezra Mam.
I'm really on the fence here with the Broncos. If Reece Walsh fires, he can drag them to any heigh. He did just that less than 12 months ago.
Without Haas, Reynolds and Hunt though, they lack that fear factor they held in their Premiership winning season.
Short-term, I think they'll be fine, but there are two sides with much brighter futures.
