Dragons v Rabbitohs

After a nasty incident on the weekend, Tyson Frizell has undergone surgery for a ruptured testicle and will be unavailable for the Dragons on Thursday. Josh Kerr is likely to replace him, with Korbin Sims to serve out the final match of his suspension this weekend.

South Sydney will likely enter the clash 1-17, after defeating the reigning premiers last Friday.

Raiders v Storm

Michael Oldfield is closing in on a return from a groin injury, which could force Bailey Simonsson out of Canberra's side.

Tom Eisenhuth had surgery to repair a fractured larynx through the week after copping a stray elbow against the Broncos, and will likely be replaced in the 17 by Joe Stimson.

Broncos v Cowboys

James Roberts' availability will come down to the wire, after sustaining a back injury on the opening weekend. If he doesn't pass the fitness test, Kotoni Staggs could be his replacement. Matt Lodge will serve the first match of his two-game ban this weekend against the Cowboys, with Shaun Fensom and Patrick Carrigan the two likely to battle it out for his spot.

North Queensland will likely go in with the same 17 unless Kyle Feldt has done enough to return from a groin injury. Javid Bowen could make way for Feldt if he returns.

Sharks v Titans

The Sharks fell to the Knights on Saturday, but are still expected to enter their first home clash of the year with the same 17.

Both Tyrone Roberts and Ashley Taylor missed the Titans' season opener, and they'll both be unavailable this weekend too, with Taylor expected back next weekend. Ryley Jacks could come into the 17, with AJ Brimson and Tyrone Peachey odds on to be named as the starting halves.

Knights v Panthers

Daniel Saifiti has been ruled out for up to a month with a knee injury, and will likely be replaced in the 17 by Herman Ese'ese, while was dropped out of the 21 last week.

For the Panthers, Hame Sele has dodged a massive bullet, with initial exceptions suggesting a broken arm, although he's been cleared of any serious injury and looks set to play again this weekend. Isaah Yeo suffered a concussion last week but is set to line up alongside Sele.

Sea Eagles v Roosters

Addin Fonua-Blake will likely miss through suspension, while Tom Trbojevic is still one week away (at the earliest) from returning to the Sea Eagles' outfit. With Fonua-Blake set to miss, Taniela Paseka or Kelepi Tanginoa looks set to replace him.

The reigning premiers fell to South Sydney last Friday, although they are expected to enter the clash unchanged.

Bulldogs v Eels

The Dogs are set to go in unchanged this weekend, despite getting smashed by the Warriors in New Zealand to open their season.

For the Eels, Nathan Brown (pec) is set for a long stint on the sidelines, while Michael Jennings (suspension) is also set to miss, unless he can successfully fight his charge. Junior Paulo is set to return after missing round one, with Tepai Moeroa a chance to fill the void left by Brown. Jaeman Salmon could replace Jennings, with Bevan French an outside chance to slot into the backline.

Tigers v Warriors

Moses Mbye could potentially be making a return, which would see Corey Thompson shift out wide to a wing.

For the Warriors, despite a huge win against the Dogs they could be forced into some changes, with Isaiah Papali'i and Issac Luke both expected to be available. Adam Blair could shuffle into lock, while Nathaniel Roache could be moved to the bench to accomodate Luke.

  1. What’s holmsey tip for LMS this week ?
manly to ‘flog’ the roosters again 😆😂
Meanwhile, Todd Greenburg said last night that a 5 year plan is underway to expand the game and reduce the number of sydney teams. I wonder which team is at the top of that list ? 🤔🦅😏🦅😅🦅😆
