On Thursday night an emotional Rabbitohs coach, Anthony Seibold, has started his press conference by arguing about the treatment the media has given him.
The rookie coach has been linked to a swap to the Broncos as Wayne Bennett's replacement over the past week.
Seibold revealed his disappointment after his sides loss to the Broncos which ended their chances of winning the minor premiership.
“Before I take any questions I just want to make a statement,” he began.
“It’s been a circus this last week in regards to the speculation around my coaching career.
“Individually I’m really disappointed, I’ve been very open with the media and some of the things that have been said in the media are just not true.
He told the journalists present to stop asking questions about his coaching future after he reestablished his commitment with South Sydney for the duration of his contract.
