during the round two NRL match between the Sydney Roosters and the Canterbury Bulldogs at Allianz Stadium on March 16, 2018 in Sydney, Australia.

The Sydney Roosters will be without Daniel Tupou for an extended period of time after the winger suffered a torn pectoral muscle.

Tupo failed to finish the match against the Bulldogs with a suspected pec tear.

Scans over the weekend have since confirmed the extent of the injury, with Tupou expected to be sidelined for 10-12 weeks while he recovers.

The Roosters take on the Knights in Round 3 and a replacement for Tupou will be named tomorrow.
