The South Sydney Rabbitohs announced that five players will leave the club after their finals loss to the Newcastle Knights on Friday night.
Keaon Koloamatangi headlines the list, as he's only played for the Rabbitohs up to this point.
Debuting in 2020, Koloamatangi has built a reputation for having an explosive running game, strong defence and sharp ball-playing skills. His rise in the NRL has led to appearances for Tonga, NSW and Australia.
With 151 career games, Koloamatangi will leave after a disappointing loss to the Knights on Friday night.
The 28-year-old heads to the St George Illawarra Dragons after signing a five-year deal in the off-season.
Salesi Ataata is the second player on the list of departing players.
The 23-year-old had a club option for the 2027 season, which the Rabbitohs have declined.
The Otahuhu Leopards junior had joined the Rabbitohs from the Sharks, where he appeared in pre-season matches and earned a spot the extended bench during the 2025 season.
Rumours suggest Ataata will head to Hull KR in 2027, with the Super League club expected to announce the move at a later date.
Joining Ataata at Hull KR is outside back Moala Graham-Taufa.
The move was reported by Love Rugby League, with Graham-Taufa set to be the first signing made under new Hull KR coach Nathan Cayless.
With brief appearances at the Warriors, Roosters and the Rabbitohs on the NRL level, Graham-Taufa spent almost the entirety of this season playing NSW Cup.
Graham-Taufa produced solid numbers, playing 17 games and scoring nine tries, along with four try assists.
Max McCarthy is also confirmed to be leaving the Rabbitohs.
Although a Cronulla junior, McCarthy had impressed through the Sharks' pathways to earn a deal with the Rabbitohs.
The forward spent the 2025 season recovering from an ACL injury that occurred during his first hit-out for the Rabbitohs in the NSW Cup.
He remains unsigned currently.
Liam Le Blanc is the last player announced to be leaving the club.
The Daily Telegraph reported in August that Le Blanc is set to join the Panthers after the club is set to lose middle forwards Scott Sorensen and Liam Henry to the Perth Bears, and Toby Crosby has agreed to join the Warrington Wolves next season.
In six games for the Rabbitohs this season, Le Blanc has shown potential and will head to Penrith with aspirations of being a consistent member of their bench next season.
The 198cm, 95kg lock forward made his NRL debut in 2024 and is known to have solid carries and work in the middle.
Since his debut, Le Blanc has made 27 appearances for the Rabbitohs.
Cody Walker, Jamie Humphreys and Adam Elliott remain unsigned for 2027.
Walker left the match on Friday against the Knights after sustaining a non-contact calf injury.
It is expected he will re-sign with the club and play the 2027 season.
Earlier in the season, it was reported Humphreys was heading to Perth Bears before backflipping on the deal.
With key recruits heading to the Rabbitohs, Humphreys' exit made sense at the time.
The utility talent had recently confirmed in an interview with NewsCorp that he wants to remain at South Sydney.
Adam Elliott has not signed a contract for the 2027 season, as his future destination remains undecided.
The veteran forward has also revealed a desire to stay with the club for another season.
