The Penrith Panthers have confirmed a number of player departures at their end of season awards night.
The club sad goodbye to Tyrone Peachey, Corey Harawira-Naera, Christian Crichton and Maika Sivo who have all signed on with new clubs in 2019.
There had been plenty of speculation swirling around the future of Peachey despite signing a three-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans, with rumours he was trying to renege on the deal and stay with the Panthers.
Retiring players Peter Wallace and Tim Browne were also farewelled, with both having their careers cut short due to injury.
The club has also announced thatĀ Soni Luke and Corey Waddell will not be returning in 2019.

Surprised to see Corey Waddell let go. When he’s played ISP he’s been a good forward , works hard. Don’t know if he’s suffered more injuries? If he stays fit, could be a good buy for most clubs.
Haven’t seen much of Soni Luke lately. Was a star player of one of the under twenties premiers. A very fast player out of hooker.
I agree with regards to Corey.
I was surprised to see how emotional Gus was during his speech.
I haven’t seen much of Sivo, other than his highlight reels, but he looks to have some serious potential. I’m looking forward to seeing him getting a run.
So was I. Just shows he is human
It would have made more sense to keep Sivo & let Mansour go. Sivo is bigger, faster , stronger & would have been cheaper.
I see they signed Tyrell Fuimaoano from South’s . Penrith junior coming back. Can play centre, second row . Without a broken toe next season , will be a better player.
