Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa wants to re-sign with the club but does the club want him?

Lichaa, along with Josh Reynolds and Will Hopoate, is off contract at the end of the season and is facing an uncertain future. Lichaa has been on of the most criticised players by Bulldogs fans, with many suggesting he's just not first-grade quality.

With rumours of big money offers to Wests Tigers duo James Tedesco and Aaron Woods, it remains to be seen how much space the Bulldogs will have in their salary cap for 2018.

Plenty of pundits have been calling for Lichaa to be dropped and moving either Reynolds or Moses Mbye to hooker in a bid to spark the side offensively.

"I definitely want to stay. I think it's the best club in the NRL for sure," Lichaa said to SMH.com.au.

"I love it so much. All my best mates now play here and I think we've got the best coach in the NRL as well. I definitely don't want to leave."
