The NRL's Match Review Committee has come down with one charge following Friday night's action between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Melbourne Storm.

Bulldogs front rower Max King has been charged with a grade-1 careless high tackle on Davvy Moale in the 52nd minute of the contest.

The high shot will see King fined $1000, given it his first offence. If he decides to fight the charge at the judiciary and loses, he will be bumped up to a $1500 fine.

The match saw the Bulldogs record their fourth win of the season, thwarting the Storm 30-20 in a game without the side's Origin stars.

Trailing 18-6, the Bulldogs went up another gear in the second half to secure a much-needed two points.

The two sides face tough opposition next round. The Bulldogs will play the Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium next Saturday, meanwhile, the Storm will host the Sydney Roosters in an important clash to keep them within touching distance of the top eight.
