Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire has left the door open for veteran hooker Robbie Farah to play on next season.

Maguire believes Farah is enjoying his footy more than ever and approaching the game with a team-first attitude.

Asked if he could extend his career into 2020, Maguire said: "Well you just never know do you?

"It is round two and we're going into round three. I think in this day and age with the way players are looked after and the way they look after themselves, you never know.

"I think for Robbie, he's just gotta focus on doing the things he's been doing and those sorts of things get themselves sorted out later on."
