Kodi Nikorima will relive his past with a shock switch for tomorrow night’s match against the Bulldogs.

Nikorima signed a new three-year deal with the Broncos this week, locking him into the Broncos until the end of 2020.

He is expected to take on the halfback position from next year, with the departing Ben Hunt out of the equation and on the way to the Dragons.

But Nikorima will live some of his slashing days in the under-20s tomorrow night when he plays fullback against the Bulldogs.

He started many games there in the National Youth Competition, cutting sides up from the back with his signature speed.

It may only be a short foray in the custodian’s role, with Darius Boyd due back next week from a broken thumb.

Nikorima will replace Jamayne Isaako, who made his NRL debut last week but will now continue his development in the Intrust Super Cup.
