The Tigers have confirmed forward Thomas Mikaele has signed a playing contract with the club, that will see him remain a Tiger until at least the end of the 2021 season.

The 21-year-old made his debut for the Tigers earlier this season, and has played 10 games for the club since.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club since moving here,” Mikaele told the club’s website.

“Madge has been a really big part of that this year.

“He’s a coach I like and he’s given me great direction about where I can get to as a player, which has given me lots of confidence.

“I’m really enjoying playing my footy and have bought in to the things we want to hold ourselves to as a team, and having my future sorted will allow me to keep focusing on that.”
