NRL announce Guy Sebastian as State of Origin III entertainment

Four-time ARIA award winner Guy Sebastian will headline the entertainment for the State of Origin decider on Wednesday night.

Sebastian - who is also a coach on The Voice - will perform his song Choir before the kick-off of Origin III.

“This is the biggest match of the year so far and we will have one of Australia’s best artists for the occasion,” NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo told nrl.com.

“Guy will bring his unique brand of music and voice to the biggest sporting stage in the country. It will be a fantastic fit as we look to celebrate a wonderful Origin series.”

Sebastian himself was thrilled to be apart of the Origin decider, and can't wait to bring the house down at ANZ Stadium.

“There's nothing quite like the passion and emotion that goes into a State of Origin decider,” he said.

“I am going to get the party started before the game and I can't wait. Bring it on.”

The Australian National Anthem will be performed by Alinta Chidzey, who is the leading cast member from the stage show Chicago - The Musical.
