Parramatta Eels CEO Bernie Gurr has released the following statement on parraeels.com.au after news broke on Wednesday morning regarding Corey Norman.
Norman was handed a breach notice of $20,000 for drinking while on the club's injury list, and the Eels' CEO says they are aware of the incident.
"The Parramatta Eels Club has been in discussion with Corey Norman and his management regarding a disciplinary matter, which resulted in a breach notice as part of our Club's disciplinary process.
We consider this to be an internal matter between the player and the Club and we will not be making any further comments."
