The Dragons have continued their impressive start to 2017 but could be without star fullback Josh Dugan for a few weeks after he left the field today with a hamstring injury.

Dugan was forced to leave the field in the 60th minute of the Dragons win over the Wests Tigers after clutching at his hamstring.

The club has confirmed he will go for scans tomorrow to assess the extent of the injury but even a Grade 1 hamstring strain is a 2-4 week recovery, so he'll likely miss the Dragons next game against the red hot Manly Sea Eagles at the very least.

Kurt Mann filled in for Dugan at fullback when he left the field but it's expected if Dugan does miss a few weeks youngster Matt Dufty will be given his shot at the No. 1 jersey.
