Jet to rock State of Origin II

Aussie rock band Jet will perform as the pre-match entertainment for Origin II at ANZ Stadium on June 24.

"Jet are proven performers and their high-energy set will lend itself perfectly to Origin," NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo told nrl.com.

"We've got a great show planned for this unique Sunday night Origin timeslot."

The band are currently touring the country for their 'Get Born' album, and will headline a trio of Australian musical acts on the night that also includes The Rubens and Kingswood.

"We've played in front of this sort of crowd before but this will be different," Jet frontman Nic Cester told nrl.com.

"It's a whole different atmosphere and we're really looking forward to it. It's such a huge scale."
