Jarryd Hayne has agreed to return to the Parramatta Eels on a one-year contract for 2018.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Hayne has shaken hands with Brad Arthur and the board.
The Eels are said to be offering Hayne $500,000 as he looks to reinvigorateย his career.
The Dally M Medal winner won't formally request a release from the Gold Coast club though until late Decemberย in order to claim 'holiday pay' for November and December totalling $90,000 per month.
Hayneย could lose up to $180,000 if he was to ask โ and be granted โ an immediate release from the Titans.
Preoccupied with Fiji duties, the 28-year old continues to deny suggestions that he wants out of Gold Coast.
"I have NOT instructed my mangerย (sic) to SPEAK to teams in Sydney,"ย Hayne tweeted earlier in the month.

Eels head coach Brad Arthur was also circumspect about the possibility of signing Hayne.
โIf Jarryd wants to come and play on our terms and if he gets released, weโll obviously be looking at it. Weโll see what happens."
