According to reports in today's League Weekly, Hull FC have been linked with New Zealand international superstar Benji Marshall for the 2017 season in what would be another huge coup for the Black and Whites.

At 30 years old, Marshall, who has 27 caps for New Zealand, can still cut it at the top level having shot to fame at Wests Tigers, before moving to St George Illawarra over the last three seasons.

A former team-mate of FC captain Gareth Ellis, it is thought that those connections would sway heavily in Hull's favour of capturing the 2010 Golden Boot winner.

However, Parker says at least another six Super League clubs are looking to sign the half-back, who also had a stint in rugby union, on a two-year deal.
