  1. Good game. Massive effort by the new boiz in the team. Patrick Herbert great defensive reads! Kata better stay gone!!
Now to move Blair out and maybe Paasi needs a wake up too. But overall just proud the team played to the end.

  2. Great game from the Warriors.

If they produced a performance like that every week, they would definitely be in the finals

  3. Feel like people’s hatred of Kata on here is abit much. He is a good player and if we are looking for a place for Herbert then I would much rather move on Hiku then Kata.

Hiku had his best performance last night at the back but that’s because he didn’t really have to defend hiku has been nothing short of atrocious with some of his defensive reads which culminated in walker scoring 4 tries against(not just hiku but blair aswell)

  4. Na bro I disagree.katas had to much chances.hiku has too but he’s been shuffled around too much so can’t really blame him.herbert must stay as his d was wicked not much on attack but looked good

  5. What chances but this is his first year at his preferred side on the field of which he hasn’t done anything wrong.

All the tries down that side of the field has come from the 2 horrible defenders inside him (Green/Hiku and Blair). Yes he is annoying with his scoot runs when we are close to the line but that’s really the only thing you can knock on him and all his other criticisms are things from previous years when he wasn’t comfortable on that side of the field (Kata has already thrown more passes this season then his last 2 seasons combined)

What I would do is shift Herbert to the right help Chanel defensively and give Kata another opportunity to see how he really goes on his preferred side of the field if he has another mediocre year consider calling up Taane Milne or signing a high quality centre like Joseph Manu

  6. Kata has had enough opportunities, no more chances… left centre right centre who cares! Herbert had ONE opportunity with the Warriors last night and smashed everything that came his way!! Hiku, well he always has a couple of errors in his game but the multiple positions he’s had to play in this season alone probably saves his hide…for now. Kearney needs to grow a set and make the changes, preferably now.

  7. Who cares? Actually a lot of people care and if you played on an edge growing up you should or would know that. you seem to be forgetting that Kata also smashed it in his debut, you cant base a player from one game even though I think Herbert did play his way into a centre spot.

Now all this talk about how terrible Kata is as a player but seems no one says where he is bad or where his weakest traits are apart from the ones I did earlier of which he has already corrected one of them.

FYI Solomne Kata’s stats for this year are very similar and in Some cases better then Joseph Manu who majority of league think is a great player and a mainstay on the kiwis lineup

  8. Seems like you care warriorsemg and good on you. And i currently do play on the edge . We could go back and forth til the cows come home but lets just hope the team actually build on last nights effort have a decent crack for the rest of the season. Churr
