Dylan Edwards, Payne Haas, Jack Wighton and Mitchell Moses have all gotten their 2022 NRL seasons off to a perfect start, scoring full votes in Zero Tackle’s NRL MVP for Round 1.

Another four players were only one vote away from the maximum score in a round where there were clear cut top players in a majority of games.

Each week this year, Zero Tackle’s founder Matt Clements, writers Jack Blyth and Dan Nicholls, as well as myself, will vote on each game to establish our NRL MVP of the year.

Votes will be given out on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 system for each game, meaning between the four of us, the maximum score any player can score in any game is 20.

You can access the full leaderboard at any time here.

Here are the Round 1 votes.
