Former NRL duo Zane Musgrove and Liam Coleman have been found guilty of indecent assault of a woman after appearing in Downing Centre Local Court on Monday.
The pair were convicted for groping the woman on November 2018 in Sydney's Coogee Bay Hotel.
Magistrate Paul Lyon found the pair, both 23, guilty of assault with an act of indecency, sentencing them to 12-month intensive corrections orders.
"In the cold light of day you could observe the distress on her. She was crying and upset. It even affected her here today," Mr Lyon said.
They have both launched appeals.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police Musgrove had pulled her close and repeatedly kissed her aggressively, adding that he grabbed her breast briefly and thrust his pubic region into her hip.
Musgrove made 27 NRL appearances for South Sydney from 2016 to 2017, and after signing with the Wests Tigers in 2019, the league refused to register his contract due to the case.
Coleman reportedly abandoned his NRL dream after quitting the Penrith Panthers.

Players change once they go out to the western of sydney it looks like beirut and sudan out there lovely place these days.
Coleman was given a second chance at Penrith, after playing up at South’s . He was kicked out of South’s . So maybe he wanted out of there first ? He was a South’s junior.
As both players were at South’s first. South’s seems to be the theme with the out of control players shadow.
Coleman wasn’t at Penrith very long at all.

shadow talk about snobberish. There is nothing wrong with the Western Suburbs. Obviously these two do not appreciate boundaries, that is on them. Also crime happens in affluent suburbs.
