Titans recruit Bryce Cartwright is set to miss several weeks after suffering a broken hand at training on Thursday.
The ex-Panther was participating in a defensive training drill when he sustained the injury, and while he is set to have scans in the afternoon, club officials suspect he will be sidelined for a few weeks.
The 23-year old has had an indifferent year at the Gold Coast, and was not selected in the team's squad to face the Wests Tigers on Sunday at Leichhardt Oval.
In better news, centre Dale Copley has inked an extension with the club until at least the 2020 NRL season.
