Centerbury have extended the contract of winger Reimis Smith by a further season.

Smith agreed to a one-year extension to his current deal that will now see him remain at the Bulldogs until the end of 2020.

The 21-year-old winger is coming off a breakout season in which he scored seven tries in 11 first grade games, including a hat-trick against the Dragons in round 24.

Canterbury will field a new look-side next season with Knights duo Nick Meaney and Jack Cogger, Wests Tigers forward Sauaso Sue, Panthers' Christian Crichton and New Zealand international Corey Harawira-Naera joining the Bulldogs next season.
