As many players have already switched clubs mid-season in 2016, we've had a look at the top five players who will join another club at the beginning of 2017.

5. Nene Macdonald (St George Illawarra Dragons)

The 22-year-old Gold Coast Titan will join the Dragons in November on a three-year deal after signing with St George in August.

Macdonald has been a mainstay in the Titans' line-up all season, playing in 21 games and running for over 100 metres in all but two of those matches.

He represented the NRL World All-Stars this year and has played for Papua New Guinea five times, so the young winger/centre will be a good signing for the Dragons next season.
