  1. Great to see MacGraff Leuluai making his kiwis debut! Well deserved…. even managed to push Thomas Leuluai out of the hooking role haha! Still question what Dallin Watene-Zelezniak provides to the team though. Thought for sure the wings were going to be Hiku and Rapana. Other than that team looks solid.

  2. DWZ was pretty terrible against Samoa and both Nightingale and Hiku were awesome against Scotland. In there biggest pool game so far they should really be playing Nightingale.
He’s more experianced has better defense, has less errors in his game and has scored more tries this year. Other than that it’s a alright team

  3. For everyone bagging out Macgraff Leuluai, let me explain why he is in the team. His real position is second row but obviously the other second row/hooker (Eligah Taylor) is out with the man flu. He is in his young fragile age of 27 (primed for his debut). He is the heart and soul of the New Zealand and Widnes Vikings team. His selection in my eyes is thoroughly deserved, even if it pushes out his long lost cousin Thomas out of the team.

    • Hmm interesting, he must be that good since he got selected for both Kiwis and Samoa. Very difficult for him to play two games in one day though.

  4. Number 18 for Australia………Danny McGuire?
Why is a 34 year old English half back in the Roos number 18 jumper?

  5. Stroke of genius by the Scottish Coach playing Tom Burgess at halfback. His direct running approach accompanied with his tactical kicking game should finally give the Scottish attack some direction!

    • You nearly had me, but I’ve just given the “sarcasm detector” a tap, and there it is, reading off the Richter scale.

    • What’s he done?

There’s been murmurings for weeks now, and I still can’t find any news. I’m not doubting it (something going on), and to be perfectly honest nothing would surprise me, but I’ve got no idea what it is.

      • Career wise, maybe. Being on the “nose” is bad, very bad, but the SPOON, via a SPOON based method is a lot worse, much, much worse.

        This is really sad news.

I really hope he can get it together, NOW, for his sake.

    • Where have you seen this? I know there has been a lot of internet talk about it recently, but even the Parra sites are quiet at the moment……

  6. Seriously ZT, who is putting these team lists together, mistakes every week, players in multiple teams, wrong teams…..
