Brisbane has re-signed hooker Jake Turpin, with the 22-year-old signing a three-year deal to remain at Red Hill.

Turpin has a player option in years two and three of the contract, with the youngster playing 11 of his 13 games in the NRL in 2019, during a breakout season.

“I am very happy to have signed this contract to stay with the Broncos,” Turpin told broncos.com.au.

“My aim now is to work hard over the next five weeks to ensure the team has its best shot at the NRL finals.”

Broncos CEO Paul White was also thrilled to secure Turpin's signature, with the playmaker deciding to remain in Brisbane despite outside interest.

“We are very pleased to have locked Jake up as he had attracted plenty of interest from elsewhere,” said White.

“Jake has shown everyone the talent he has and the progression he has made this season.

“The Broncos are excited to sign him to this contract and look forward to watching him develop further in the coming years.”
