This rugby league news cycle is perhaps the busiest I can ever remember.
I literally just hit submit on FIVE potential landing spots for Dom Young and now another star of the game has been reportedly told his future lies elsewhere.
Titans superstar David Fifita has been tapped on the shoulder and now looks to have played his last game on the Gold Coast.
This despite re-signing with the club just last year, on a huge and long-term deal.
There is probably a fair few stories yet to come out here but for now we'll just go with what we know; that Fifita is likely on his way out of the club.
Below are FIVE likely landing destinations for David Fifita:
1. Parramatta Eels
Dylan Brown is on his way to the Knights, freeing up some serious cap space.
Ryan Matterson and Bryce Cartwright are playing NSW Cup. Joe Ofahengaue has moved to England.
Shaun Lane's future is unclear. We wish him all the best in returning to the game when he is ready.
I don't know whether or not a rookie coach is the right set up for David Fifita, but he may not have a choice.
The Eels are running last and are in need of something special. They're losing their five-eighth for next year meaning Mitch Moses has the entire club on his back.
Ok Fifita is a little wayward right now but we've seen clubs take bigger gambles on players with less than talent Fifita.
Jason Ryles has a magnificent opportunity here.
Eels fans are crying out for a big signing. They need something to get excited about, especially given they face an Origin period sans Moses.
Fifita walks into that Eels pack. He makes the team better overnight.
There are a lot of stars aligning here. Just quietly I believe the Eels to be the second of those two clubs where Fifita's already being shopped.
