This rugby league news cycle is perhaps the busiest I can ever remember.
I literally just hit submit on FIVE potential landing spots for Dom Young and now another star of the game has been reportedly told his future lies elsewhere.
Titans superstar David Fifita has been tapped on the shoulder and now looks to have played his last game on the Gold Coast.
This despite re-signing with the club just last year, on a huge and long-term deal.
There is probably a fair few stories yet to come out here but for now we'll just go with what we know; that Fifita is likely on his way out of the club.
Below are FIVE likely landing destinations for David Fifita:
2. Manly Sea Eagles
Daly Cherry-Evans is days away from being announced as a Sydney Rooster (according to reports).
Jake Trbojevic is supposedly set to re-sign on a team-friendly deal.
Suddenly, there's just a little bit of money available on the northern beaches.
I can't see a way they get him in under the current cap situation but NRL clubs have shown they are willing to make moves. Hello, we're literally talking about it now.
There has to be a fair chunk of change saved in the DCE/Fogarty swap. I'm sure they could move someone a long in order to bring the second rower in.
Manly's forward pack is absolutely their weakness right now.
Nathan Brown has filled in well but is at the back end of his career. Haumole Olakau'atu is often left to play a lone hand.
Can you imagine a back row of Fifita and Olakau'atu? Yikes!
