Panthers v Sharks

Penrith could see their Origin trio of James Maloney, Nathan Cleary and Tyrone Peachey return from duty, although they will lose Dallin Watene-Zelezniak to a hamstring injury.

For the Sharks, Josh Dugan should return from an injury layoff, and could come back into the side with Valentine Holmes, as he returns from Origin duty. Wade Graham is still touch and go to play.

Knights v Eels

Mitchell Pearce will return to the NRL after a long injury layoff. The Knights will be without young star Kalyn Ponga however, after he suffered a hamstring injury last week. Nathan Ross and Nick Meaney will likely fight it out for his No.1 jersey.

Michael Jennings' spot in the team looks uncertain, and he could be dropped to reserve grade.

Bulldogs v Rabbioths

If Dave Klemmer gets through Origin unscathed he could return to the line-up. Greg Eastwood will need to prove his fitness as he battles a calf problem.

Greg Inglis will miss with a broken thumb, which could see Hymel Hunt return to the backline in his absence. The Rabbitohs have three men (Dane Gagai, Angus Crichton and Damien Cook) on Origin duty, and all three will look to back up if possible.

Sea Eagles v Storm

Despite recent news that Manase Fainu is set to face court over filming a sex act, the Sea Eagles are set to name him at hooker for their clash with the Storm, for just his second NRL game. Tom Trbojevic, Jake Trbojevic, and Daly Cherry-Evans will all hope to back up after Origin III.

The Storm could see forward Dale Finucane return from a thumb problem, although Jesse Bromwich is still a week away from returning from injury. A big Origin contingent (Billy Slater, Josh Addo-Carr, Tim Glasby, Cameron Munster, and Felise Kaufusi) will all hope to return.

Raiders v Cowboys

The Raiders will need to make some changes, after losing Brad Abbey and Shannon Boyd to injury. Jack Wighton will serve the third game of his six-match club imposed suspension against the Cowboys on Saturday. Jordan Rapana could return alongside Luke Bateman, but neither are confirmed inclusions.

For the Cowboys, their side looks a lot more certain, with Matt Scott a chance to return from injury. Their two Origin stars in Gavin Cooper and Coen Hess will both be named and should back up.

Broncos v Warriors

With Brisbane's Origin representatives in James Roberts, Andrew McCullough and Josh McGuire all set to play, only Kotoni Staggs is an injury worry, after he was concussed last weekend.

The Warriors could drop Peta Hiku following on from his poor performance last Friday.

Dragons v Tigers

If the Dragons' Origin stars get through Wednesday's clash, they'll welcome backย Jack de Belin,ย Paul Vaughan,ย Tyson Frizellย andย Tariq Sims.

For the Tigers, David Nofoaluma is pressing for a return from a calf injury, while Ben Matulino should be named after struggling with his own injury concern.

Titans v Roosters

Jai Arrow and Jarrod Wallace will be named pending their post-Origin availability. Keegan Hipgrave must prove he's over his concussion in order to face the Tricolours.

For the Roosters, James Tedesco and Latrell Mitchell should return from Origin, and will be joined by Jared Warea-Hargeaves, after he was rested following a late return from the Denver Test.
