Wallabies prospect Izaia Perese is set to join the Brisbane Broncosaccording to a report by The Daily Telegraph.

The 21-year old is contracted to the Queensland Reds for 2019 and has not been given a release for next season, so is expected to join Brisbane the following season.

But The Daily Telegraph is reportedly that Perese is adamant on joining the NRL, even if he has to play out an extra season for the Reds.

  1. Remember watching him a few years ago in the u16s Origin curtain raiser, was playing Centre in a team that had Hipgrave and Sua who was playing Centre also. Is close mates with Sua too I believe, as they carved up in GPS rugby for school that had Ponga and Croft in the team aswell. Have been watching him over the years for the reds and let me tell you this, broncos fans won’t be disappointed if they sign this kid!

  2. What a load of rubbish, Brisbane has been spending everything of late and who have they lost, now they claim to be chasing this player. And everyone is complaining about the Roosters. Its about time League fans start complaining about the real rorters like Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Saints, Cowboys and Cronulla.

  3. Thaiday is retiring, Boyd could be retiring as well, Sims is going, they are prepared to let Oates, Glenn and maybe Lodge go so they have a little more cash to spend then we all think
