during the round 18 NRL match between the Manly Sea Eagles and the Melbourne Storm at Lottoland on July 14, 2018 in Sydney, Australia.

Manly prop Marty Taupau could be on the move after reports that he has fallen out with the club, as reported the Daily Telegraph.

The 28-year-old is contracted at the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2020 season, but rival clubs are circling amid whispers that he wants out of Manly.

Taupau was benched by coach Trent Barrett during the the club’s clash with the Panthers despite originally being named to start, a move which the Kiwi Test prop brushed aside.

β€œThere were many reasons as to why I started off the bench (and) so many assumptions,” Taupau toldΒ Sporting News.

β€œI took that (the demotion) onboard and worked with the other forwards off the bench.”

  1. In what world could the Roosters fit Taupau under their cap. How could it even be discussed. What a complete load of $%!t. There are zero arms length 3rd party deals. I know this as I don’t see players actually doing anything for these 3rd party deals. Can anybody name an advertisement they saw recently with a rugby league player spruiking something. Billy Slater and Powerade, a couple of blokes in betting adds and thats it. I was under the impression there were quite a few of these agreements in place so where the hell is the supposed labour for the money! Its an absolute p!$s take. F$^%ing joke. Just get rid of the salary cap and stop pretending the game is something its not.

    • Hey Butters you need to read this about 3rd part agreements

Every team in the comp has an equal opportunity to have third party agreements. Stop being a little sooky baby and get on with life. πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯

  2. Marty not happy at Manly ????
    Who woulda thought ?
Buzz reckons they’re the club most likely… to fold.
I like Andrew Johns idea of a sydney shake up and 12 super clubs in the 1st grade comp. too many sydney teams.
    Merge or fold.

    • Why dont we just get rid of the interstate teams. Queensland can have its own comp where they can celebrate themselves endlessly and NSW can go on playing the same game its played for 100 years, with zero risk of dying.

    • Hey Panthers3, you sound exactly like another tr0ll on here.
Actually you both have the same siganture punctuation flaw.
You have less brains than mychook or mycar.
