South Sydney pair Cameron Murray and Liam Knight have both been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following their clash with Manly.
Murray was charged with a Grade 1 dangerous contact head/neck charge, but can escape punishment with an early guilty plea, that would see him carry a charge of 75 points.
Knight isn't as lucky after being hit with a Grade 2 dangerous contact - other charge, and will miss two matches due to a prior offence from earlier this season which will keep his early guilty plea at 200 points.
Knight could contest the charge, but faces a three-game ban if he loses.
I’m more concerned about our rooster Hargraeves after his repeat Ponga act against the Cowboys.
I was hoping after the suspension he would put that play away but obviously hasn’t.
Not looking good.
Whats happened to the cleanskin Murray? I understand Liam Knight being classified as a dirty grub type player but his presence at Souths is rubbing off onto the young players now.
Why weren’t either of them sent to the bin like the knights player was? Inconsistent refereeing yet again.
