Eels playmaker Mitchell Moses has been cleared of serious damage to his knee and is set to miss two games.

The 23-year old twisted his knee in a tackle during his side's 30-4 loss to the Knight on Saturday, and there were initial fears that Moses suffered an MCL injury, or worse yet, a ruptured ACL.

But scans confirmed on Sunday that he has been diagnosed with a with bone bruising, which means he is likely to miss the next couple of matches.

Moses was not the only Eel to go down in the game, with Will Smith set to miss time with a hamstring injury and Bevan French also under an injury cloud after suffering a concussion in the opening two minutes.
