The Gold Coast Titans have confirmed three new player departures at the end of the 2026 season, bringing the total to five.
With the Gold Coast building their side nicely for 2027, it has now been confirmed that Phillip Sami (St George Illawarra Dragons) and Jaimin Jolliffe (Huddersfield Giants) will be joined in departing the Titans by Sam Verrills, Allan Fitzgibbion and Tukimihia Simpkins.
The players, announced to be departing the club on Friday, do not have a new outfit for 2027 at this stage.
Verrills, who has played 68 NRL games for the club, is the most well-known of the group, and while it has been reported that he has been in talks with other clubs, he is yet to do a new deal.
At one stage, he was heavily linked to the Canterbury Bulldogs, but it now appears likely the blue and white will sign Freddy Lussick to add to their dummy half depth.
Fitzgibbon is a fringe ouhtside back, and Simpkins a forward, but it's unclear if the duo have any further NRL or English Super League oppportunities on the table heading into 2027.
Both players originally joined the Titans in 2025.

The Titans latest round of player departure confirmations means they have just one player left off-contract at the end of 2026 in former St George Illawarra Dragons forward Jett Liu.
