  1. Souths playing terrible, no back line movement in the second half, many times we could have passed short to someone only to go wide and screw things up, anyway, a win is a win, i feel confident that when we get our full team back we will click, no use peaking now, we have players coming back fresh for the latter end of the season, this hopefully will put us in good stead for the semi’s.

  2. No way Harry, first try should have gone to the bunker, a dead series of knock on’s and forward passes, anyway, manly beat us by a point in the first round and we did the same in the second round

  3. refereeing in general in this game was terrible across the board. Both teams were ripped off, but i think that South deserved the win today, despite their mixed performance

  4. Great to have some common sense posts on here for a change.
I presume the idiot RCrower has been retired.

  5. The inconsistencies in refereeing are an absolute joke, manlys first try while I do believe was a try as suli hits the ball clearly backwards into Gagai head, should of 1million percent been looked at by a video ref and went from there. Also overturning Cade custs try by saying he 100% with certainty lost the ball ( when he clearly doesn’t) is a joke.
Referees were terrible in what was an otherwise good entertaining game against 2 very even teams

  6. Shadow you think that performance is going to get anything that resembles a premiership you are kidding

  7. Decent effort by both teams. Lots of errors or poor choices though this is typical for a couple of rounds after origin. Usually takes a couple of weeks to find the groove again.

  8. Sorry Bob. That first try that Cust scored. The first pass was half a metre forward, some other passes were dodgy at best. Suli also hit the ball onto the ground & the ball bounced forward . Whether it was behind or not , makes no difference. As he hit it forward.
The refs have ruled every similar error as that this year a knock on. So that was a knock on also.

  9. There was no forward pass, and yes he fumbles forward but before it touched anyone else he hits it clearly backwards.
Refs not going upstairs is the big issue in that try. Doesn’t excuse the rest of the game, 9-2 penalty count, Cade custs very clear second try and the last very clear offside, either way it was a good game to watch and both those teams will he better once origin settles down

  10. Forward pass to start with for sure. Knock on for sure.
I don’t support either team, so would look at each part of that game without bias. You can’t see it without seeing it through Manly eyes.
