Cronulla coachย Shane Flanagan has confirmed today that Sharks skipper Paul Gallen will go around again next season for the club.
Flanagan addressed the media today ahead of the game against the Wests Tigers tomorrow night and when asked about theย immediate and future plans for Gallen, had the following to say.
"He'll definitely play again next year," Flanagan said.
"We're well and truly down the track of talking to his management and that'll be resolved in the next couple of weeks.
"We said to Gal that when the time was right and he felt it was right and he was playing well and he wanted to play again, then we'd do it.
"We're not looking at his birth certificate. The way he plays and trains is the most important thing for us."
