Elijah Taylor is considering up a two-year deal to remain at the Wests Tigers or a return to New Zealand to take up a contract with the Warriors.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Warriors are keen to bring Taylor back to the club where he made his debut n 2011.

Taylor has a lot of family in New Zealand and they are keen for him to return once his contract with the Wests Tigers finishes at the end of the season.

A delicate family situation though might be enough reason for Taylor to reject the offer from the Warriors and stay with the Wests Tigers.

Taylor's one-year-old daughter was placed in intensive care earlier this year after suffering a seizure, with doctors telling Taylor he should remain in Sydney.

“I really want to stay,” Taylor told the Daily Telegraph.

“My daughter had an episode at the start of the year. The doctors have advised us to stay in Sydney. It’s a decision based around my daughter’s (wellbeing).

“Hopefully we can sort it out by the end of the week. My family comes first in making decisions; it’s what’s best for my family.”
