The NRL has revealed the nominees for the 2019 Dally M awards.

One of the biggest shock omissions was leading try scorer and Eels cult hero Maika Sivo from the Winger of the Year nominees.

Sivo played a key role in Parramatta's rise back into the finals this season, with teammate Blake Ferguson getting nominated in the best winger category instead.

Sydney's James Tedesco firms as the favourite for the Dally M Award ahead of Melbourne's Cameron Smith and Parramatta's Mitchell Moses and New Zealand's Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

  1. Sivo was definitely the best winger and having Edrick Lee in there is a joke. Would also have RTS in the captain of the year nominees. Would have Joe Ofahungue over Francis Molo for bench player of the year nominees.

Nrl should also have a most improved which would go to CNK.

  2. Wow!!! So who is on the panel that decides the nominees?? Edrick Lee, Brian Kelly, Josh Jackson, Ken Maumalo, Esan Marsters, Will Hopoate…..
coach of the year nominees?? Maybe McGregor might get a start here going on the above list ๐Ÿ˜ณ

  3. Sivo scores 22 tries in 25 games yet he doesnโ€™t make the final nominees for winger of the year. Embarrassing really!!
