The Cronulla Sharks will be forced to name a makeshift hooker for their Round 16 match against the Sydney Roosters after rookie No.9 Jayden Brailey suffered a suspected broken jaw.
Brailey was taken to hospital after being forced from the field in yesterday's loss to Manly.

If the injury is confirmed, Brailey could be sidelined for up to 8 weeks which would leave the Sharks scrambling to find a replacement.

Mid-season signing James Segeyaro is said to still be at least a week away from returning from a broken arm.
The Sharks released backup hooker Mania Cherrington to the New Zealand Warriors earlier in the season, while off contract utility Daniel Mortimer was allowed to join Super League side Leighย on a long-term deal last week.
Fa'amanu Brown seems the player likely to benefit from Brailey's injury in the short-term, with coach Shane Flanagan expected to name him in his side for the Round 16 match.
