Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Cronulla's Briton Nikora have both been charged by the NRL match review committee for incidents over round six.

Asofa-Solomona was charged with contrary conduct against Sydney's Jared Waerea-Hargreaves on Friday night, which carries a fine of $1,500.

Nikora is facing a one-match ban for a for a dangerous throw on Penrith's Viliame Kikau on Thursdayh night.

He is facing a suspension due to the fact that he carried over a similar offence in the lower grades over the last two years.
