South Sydney halfback Adam Reynolds will spend time on the sidelines after reports he has broken his thumb in the game against North Queensland on the weekend.

Channel 9 journalist Tony Adams (aka The Mole) broke the news to Rabbitohs fans on Twitter.

The club has yet to confirm the details but the injury is expected to see Reynolds spend a month or so on the sidelines as he recovers.

The Rabbitohs next match is against the Cronulla Sharks at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Friday night.

  1. That’s ok, I’m sure our Super coach has a plan… probably move Dave Tyrrell to halfback, should complement Sutton at 5/8… lol

    • Very funny, but recent decisions makes you think that Madge is reading from the Jack Gibson playbook. The best thing Madge can do is slot Damien Cook into halfback and not change the whole team around. Goodwin can kick goals.

Another thought, Robbie to half and Cook to start at 9.

      • Robbie at 1/2 probably the better option – but I reckon he’ll play Kelly (which I’m not a fan of)…

        • I reckon Kelly would have been you’re better option, given he’d be running with Sutton. Kelly’s not fancy, but Sutton doesn’t belong in the halves, and at least with Kelly Madge could control the plays from the sideline, which would no doubt be “get it Crichton or Walker”

  2. As a Rabbits member I got an email that said Reynolds was in the team for this weekend. Confused? you bet.
