Wests Tigers are set on working towards retaining young utility Heath Mason, despite the 21-year-old currently being without a club for the 2027 NRL season.
The Tigers are looking to find room for Mason as they continue to shape their roster for next season, with the club yet to secure his future after leaving the decision until late in the year.
Mason offers versatility across fullback and five-eighth, providing depth in two key positions as the Tigers continue to build their squad.

The young prospect has made 17 NRL appearances since making his debut in 2024, including four games this season, featuring at fullback and off the interchange bench.
He was called upon to fill the void left by Jahream Bula when the Tigers fullback was sidelined, gaining further experience at the top level.
Mason was upgraded into the Tigers' Top 30 squad in June last year after extending his contract through to the end of 2026, but he is now without a deal for next season as the club weighs up its roster options.
Wests Tigers currently have four spots remaining in their Top 30 squad for 2027, potentially giving the club room to accommodate Mason as discussions continue.
The 21-year-old has continued to perform strongly in the NSW Cup for the Western Suburbs Magpies, keeping himself in contention for a potential NRL contract.
