The Wests Tigers have confirmed they will play six games at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in 2027 as part of their ongoing stadium strategy.

The Tigers lose Leichhardt Oval next year to a redevelopment, and so have increased their commitment to playing games in south west Sydney.

Once Leichhardt is back online, the two grounds will likely do a straight swap, before they both come back to action and the Tigers can reshape their long-term stadium strategy.

In the meantime, Campbelltown will share hosting honours for the joint-venture club with Parramatta's CommBank Stadium, where the Tigers have played a number of games this year.

The six games at Campbelltown in 2027 is the most since 2002 for the club, who agreed to remain at the stadium for at least the next 15 years in some capacity following the redevelopment scheduled for 2028.

The Tigers have also confirmed that four games, including Easter Monday, will remain at CommBank Stadium, while their other home games will come at Magic Round, and on the road, likely in regional NSW.

“It's a great moment for the Club and signifies our intentions in South West Sydney for many years to come,” Tigers CEO Shaun Mielekamp said.

“Playing the bulk of our games at Campbelltown Stadium is critical to our strategy in the region and lays the foundation for the work we'll be doing through our pathways, in the community and to support participation in rugby league.

"We are a proud joint-venture club – stretching from Leichhardt to Leumeah – but know just how critical our work in the South West is to the future of the Wests Tigers.

“We're so appreciative of the work of Campbelltown Council, it's a genuine partnership that goes well beyond the bricks and mortar of a stadium redevelopment.

“We're excited at taking this first step in in our agreement, which will ultimately see seven games at Campbelltown Stadium from 2029 onwards.”

The Tigers will likely confirm where their 12th home game, outside of Magic Round and Sydney - will be held prior to the fixture announcement scheduled for November.
