during the round 14 NRL match between the Brisbane Broncos and the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium on June 9, 2017 in Brisbane, Australia.

Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett has made a surprising selection move ahead of his side’s clash against the Penrith Panthers at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

Bennett revealed today he may tweak his backline to allow skipper Darius Boyd to move into the centres, pushing youngster Jamayne Isaako to full back and Jordan Kahu onto the wing.

These moves do not affect the team’s starting 17, but would vastly affect the way the Broncos attack with Boyd up front, where he has previously proven his worth.

Isaako is more than capable as a winger, which was the position he excelled in during last season’s IS Cup that earned him a promotion to the first-grade team. Kahu is an experienced winger too.
