Melbourne legend Billy Slater has been burnt by Phil Gould in a hilarious handshake fail on Wide World of Sports on Friday night.
Gould joined a panel of Slater, Erin Molan and Brad Fittler on Channel Nine after the Panthers' loss to the Rabbitohs last night.
At the end of Gould's interview, Slater went to shake hands with Gould, although Gould walked away and left Slater hanging, much to the amusement of Molan and Fittler.
Slater was able to see the funny side of it afterwards, and posted the following message on Twitter.
