The Sydney Roosters could be without enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves for a number of weeks after a late and wayward elbow on Wests Tigers five-eighth Tuimoala Lolohea.
Lolohea had put a kick in down field when Warea-Hargreaves swung his elbow out late and collected Lolohea right on the jaw.
Jared with an elbow on Tui there...
He's on report. We're on the attack.#NRLRoostersTigers

Lolohea went to ground and a penalty was then called.
Warea-Hargreaves was placed on report for the hit and is now likely to be charged by the Match Review Committee.
The Roosters are still fighting for a Top 4 finish and a suspension forย Warea-Hargreaves would put a significant dent in their finals aspirations.
Fans were quick to condemn the contact made by Waerea-Hargreaves on social media, with many wondering what it takes these days to get sent off.
@Todd_Greenberg - sitting with my children watching #NRLRoostersTigers. JWH (late) elbow to Lolohea's head, no send off. Back look for @NRL.

Just seen that elbow by JWH on Lolohea. Surely he gets a few weeks and should have been sent off
