The MRC has handed down two fines following Friday night's double-header, with all four teams avoiding any serious sanctions.
The first game at Brookvale Oval saw the Manly Sea Eagles cruise to a 44-10 victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons, with just one player charged following the contest.
Dragons Connor Muhleisen was sanctioned in the final minute of the match after being charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on Manly enforcer Haumole Olakau'atu.
Muhleisen will be fined $750 if he takes the early guilty plea, while the charge could increase to $1000 if he fights the charge at the judiciary and is found guilty.
The forward is eligible for the discounted fine after going three years without an incident.
Muhleisen was the only player sanctioned from the opening match, with Dragons forward Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga escaping punishment despite being placed on report during the first half.
Attention then turned to Accor Stadium, where the Bulldogs hosted the Panthers in a fiery contest that saw plenty of clashes between the two sides.
Despite trailing just 8-4 at halftime, the Bulldogs eventually fell to a 24-10 defeat, with one player from the game receiving a fine.
Bulldogs forward Villiame Kikau was charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on Panthers forward Lindsay Smith during the first half.
Unlike Muhleisen, Kikau is not eligible for the three-year incident-free discount, meaning his fine starts at $1000.
That figure could rise to $1500 if Kikau challenges the charge at the judiciary and is subsequently found guilty.
Panthers forwards Scott Sorensen and Isaiah Papali'i were both placed on report during the fiery encounter but escaped any sanction from the MRC.
With just two fines handed out across the four teams, the Friday night double-header avoided any major judiciary drama heading into the remainder of the round.
